Not very professional of them, maybe DEC at GOJET/TSA?

This is one thing the company does not do is when you get a job offer and rescind it! There has to be be something glowing on your record. Not trying to be a jerk but there is more to this story then we all know.

Fair questions.

I was very honest with them during the application and the interview. There should be no issues with the background check that I am aware of.

I was truly hoping/planning to stay at F9 for over 10 years.

There should be no blackball that I know of.

Looks like you are coming from Silver.. I agree with the others something is not adding up here. Our management is pretty slimy, but I'm pretty sure they would not go that far.

Well, regardless of whether MichiganFlyer is an ax murderer (which I would bet he/she is not) or sings in the church choir, there is NEVER an excuse for rescinding an offer in that short of time w/o some sort of explanation. Even something as generic as "we're experiencing a miscalculation in training slots" or "we found something in your background that wasn't to our liking" or whatever is absolutely necessary. I have no idea what the whole story is but there's gotta be a better way to inform people of a change other than - "sorry" w/o explanation.

Not providing even the most basic of reasons is extremely unprofessional.

Seriously Oooo? S T F Up. The vast majority of pilots routinely give 2 weeks notice before quitting a job. It's industry standard and the right (professional/responsible/courteous, etc.) thing to do.

If a job offer from Frontier now requires that a pilot set aside courtesy and professionalism, then the problem lies not with the pilot, but squarely with Frontier.

I know at least a couple of our union reps monitor this forum. I'd love to hear more about this situation if any of you all have a chance to broach the subject with management. Send me an email, PM, or call me. If nothing else, I'll ask about it the next time one of our chief pilots calls me because he's butt hurt over something I've done or failed to do. Shouldn't be long if past performance is any indicator...

:D

I would start by checking your pria report. The day you were hired you filled out paperwork. If you indicated you wanted to get a copy you should get one in the mail soon. Look over all of that carefully. Good luck.

Exactly. I would also disclose training fails that do not show up on the PRIA. If you received a W-2, you worked somewhere, even if you "resigned".

I have an interview coming up with F9 in December. This has me worried. I get if it's one person in the class but 7. I am really excited for the interview and the possibility of working for them but now a little worried.
