Retired mil here, 5 years at F9.

Don’t bother with conversion, these days tt/pic isn’t going to interfere with getting a cjo, imho. Not enough mil here for them to get the conversion, so again I wouldn’t.

Seems like M&G like the recent ones at NGPA@PSP this month and @ORD tomorrow are the fast tracks to interviews. I’ve followed 2 guys who got them that route. Far better than hoping you win the lottery on airline apps.

Good luck

To add onto what prettywhacked1 said, the other option is to attend one of the Aerocrew solutions virtual job fairs. I attended one and had an invite to interview a week later.

Good to hear, Saab....idk that F9 was participating in the virtual job fairs....I’ll definitely pass that along to seekers....

Good luck!

It's definitely a good way to go. You could do it in your pajamas if you wanted.

Thank you! Just waiting on a class date.

Checkride Failures

Anyone know for sure the number of checkeide failures F9 is screening for on applications. Apparently they have a form they require you fill out listing all checkride failures. Any idea what the number is too many?

I don’t know but I have 3 (Private-SEL, Commercial-SEL, and CFI-I) and I got hired in 2016.

Good question... Hiring picked up huge. Interviews are scheduled for June and they are filling the July class currently. Apply and see what they say.

People often ask what times are getting people hired at F9 but experience in each class is all over the place. Meeting mins will get your application accepted, networking (meet and greets, silver bullets etc) will get you an interview but how you handle the interview will get you the job. Frontier is serious about not hiring a logbook.
