Such a true statement, especially under the current contract. Very unfair question to ask.

It looks like they aren't even using the reserves and I don't know anyone who has gotten the JA call. Are they just giving up and saying @$?& it?

I've been wondering the same thing. You would think all reserves would be flying, but most haven't flown all week.

It's a proven model to keep most d-bags, whiners and ego maniacs from joining the ranks. F9 may not have a lot going for it in the pay department at the moment, but it's still has an outstanding pilot group and that comes from selective hiring.

Same here. I felt great about the interview, made it through the lunch time cut along with half my group. Then I did the Chief Pilot interview, and JP was extremely rude and kept asking me why I would stay at Frontier if Delta called in six months (I admitted I had apps out to United and Delta when they asked me). Very, very weird. A week later I got the TBNT.

A few weeks later, a F9 recruiter called me and asked if I was interested in interviewing. I said yes, but did you know I got turned down a few weeks earlier? He said he'd get back to me, but never did. Really unprofessional... This was in the summer of 2014, so maybe they're more realistic now.

I like the F9 pilot group, but your management are complete idiots.
