Frontier Hiring.

I think you find out approx three weeks into training. DEN is most junior with a couple of the most senior guys in each class getting awarded MCO right out of the gate if they bid for it. ORD seems to take a few more months to hold.

For us it was around the 2nd or 3rd week of ground school we found out what our bases were. 18 DEN spots and 2 MCO. Several others got MCO on the next vacancy award.

How many months does it take to hold ORD?
Not related question:
Where can I find more info regarding number of airplanes on order/deliveries etc?

What I do know is that they have lots of airplanes on order. I think in general the plan is to double in size in the next 5ish years. I don't have any sources to back that up, it's just what I've heard.

EDIT: If you want exact numbers, the latest vacancy to close gave the most junior ORD spot to an October 2016 hire, with an effective date of March 2017.

I don't know of a website with good numbers, but whatever you find keep in mind that orders can be canceled and delayed at any time. New collective bargaining agreement? Cancel some orders. LOA 67 is actually honored? Cancel some orders. Orders can be used as a carrot, and any time something positive happens that carrot might be adjusted as "punishment".

The growth hasn't even started yet either... the December bid pack shows 61 ac and at the end of January, its only 57

We are suppose to go from 63 at the end of 2016 to 72 at the end of 2017. Net growth of 9 assuming deliveries do not get delayed.
I have seen the spreadsheet of the current plan for 2017 for the lease returns however that is set as of 12/21/2016. What I do know is a total of 3 A319's are getting lease returned between Jan and Feb. and 7 A320's are getting lease returned between Jan-Jun. Then after June no more lease returns for the remainder of the year. So many of these lease returns are swapping out for an A320Neo or A321.
