Before this week I didn't blame anyone for coming here. Like I've said there are far worse gigs out there, but after this week I'm not so sure. I really enjoy flying for a living but this company sucks the joy out of everything and I honestly don't see how that's going to change in the future.

Also scheduling did an awesome job commuting with crews and having hotels available. If they were unable to call you, it was extremely easy to get hold of them.

The irony of the hometown Rocky Mountain airline being brought to its knees by a slightly inaccurate snow forecast in Denver amazes me. Is there better proof of how weak this operation really has become under the reigns of Franke and Biffle?
I can't recommend this job to any colleagues anymore, no matter how desperate they are for a flying gig- for the simple fact I feel a twinge of embarrassment every time I don the uniform and go to work. Twice in one year this airline has fallen apart when Denver gets hit with snow, and not once has our "leadership" (I.e. Accountants) taken any shred of responsibility for this. Not even a "sorry to our employees that were stranded and unable to contact us". Complete radio silence from the Chief Pilot's office during the whole debacle! Not one stinking memo. This place does not have your back.
Not looking forward to the rest of this winter at work.

Hey now, he's super busy having section 13 hearings, going to France for new airplanes, sitting in our negotiations on behalf of the company, and doing God knows what in SOC all the time. There's no time to support your pilot group...

All Crews,
We wanted to take a moment to recognize all the effort that you put in over the last week. As you
know, the operation experienced an extremely challenging week. Thanks to all of you who continued to
work hard, operate flights, and help our passengers get to their destinations during the holiday season.
During our conversations with crews over the last week, we saw a snapshot of those of you who went
the extra mile without any request from the company (e.g. bringing bags/strollers down the jetway,
assisting passengers, finding wheelchairs, listing yourselves for a company flight even though you
weren’t listed for a DH, making yourselves available to fly when you could have contractually gone
home, finding yourself a hotel room when the company was unable). The list goes on and on. We
recognize the majority of it we will never even be aware of because you didn’t do it for “extra credit”,
but because it was the right thing to do. All we can say is thank you. To all of you, Thank You.
From everyone on the Flight Operations team, Happy Holidays and thanks again for all that you do!
Best Wishes,
JP, Carlos, Shawn, Adam and Aaron
Way to go guys and girls.
