But who am I kidding, that makes too much sense
If it's only a $4 million fine, then we got off extremely lucky. I heard (unsubstantiated?) that we had at least 12 flights in Denver in violation of the tarmac delay program. With an average of nearly 180 passengers per airplane and a fine of up to $27,500 per/pax, the fine theoretically could be close to 60 million dollars.

It makes those eight gates we gave up to Delta on the west end of the A concourse look pretty cheap! Not to mention the pathetically inferior wage that is paid to the Denver ground worker that has little motivation to go above and beyond.

Will there be any accountability?

Doubt it. Also, would the FAA really fine the max amount per passenger? I feel like given the weather and some other factors, it would be substantially less.

If by accountability, you mean bonuses, then probably so.

The whole thing is such an abortion. This is no different than the regionals and a legacy carrier. The public does not give a rats a$$ who simplicity or swissport is. They paid for a Frontier ticket and those people have a shirt on that says Frontier on it. Its so upsetting That BB and Indigo keep pointing at the weather, our vendors, the alignment of the stars and moon that day as factors. Grow an Effing sack and accept responsibility. This is no one else fault except a greedy group of management personnel. They created this mess and now want to point the finger. Please, take a look in the mirror BB and BF...Thats whose at fault here.

When operational meltdowns occur at Spirit the same excuses are made. Poor managements never take ownership of their mistakes...instead they deflect blame on anything/ everything other than where the blame lies: themselves.

It's been a week now since Frontier went into full meltdown and the operation still doesn't seem to be fully caught back up.

As a relatively small operation, ~ 60 airplanes and 1000 pilots how is it taking so long to right the ship?

Any word if they're having another recruiting event like they did in LGA at the beginning of the month?
