Job fair if you can make it, pull any strings you have for an internal recommendation or Silver Bullet if you have someone who will do it for you. Otherwise it seems to be a mix of persistence, patience and luck of the draw. I wish there were a magic formula, but there isn't. At least not that I'm aware of.

Been following this thread for a while. I got an interview set for next week, hoping to leave the slums of the 135 cargo world. ~3300TT, 2200TPIC (all Turboprop), no 121 time. I [humbly] believe I'm a good stick simply because of the kind of flying I'm having to do, but feel like my lack of jet and 121 time makes me not so desirable for F9. Anyone care to weigh in?

Do some interview prep asap, it pays dividends. I cannot reiterate that enough.
The Airbus will be a lot for you to learn if you haven't flown a jet with that much automation but it's designed to be pilot friendly as long as you put in the legwork to understand what you're telling it to do.

Jet flying is not specifically about stick and rudder, per se. It is about CRM, and energy management. Totally different ballgame than the chop & drop mentality of tprop flying. Every new jet pilot has a learning curve, whether it's in an RJ or an Airbus. I'm not an interviewer by a long shot, but if I was, I would be looking for you to demonstrate your ability to learn, and work as a team member.
Get interview prep, and tell them about your concerns. Good luck!
