#one list denied
Nowhere in my post did I say or imply that any Gojet pilot would go to Skywest with any seniority other than as a new hire, not on purpose anyway. Skywest is basically putting new hires with the time into the left seat now, or within a month or 2. Skywest already offers up to 10 years longevity pay. It can be easily adjusted to allow seat retention or at least Captain pay for a couple of months until they get in the left seat.

True, I misread some of what you said. But, pilot staffing truly has hit rock bottom if OO goes street-hire captain.

The bottom line for those at GoJet, start making alternate plans. Could the CRJs owned by GoJet be placed elsewhere? Possible but not likely.
You should be able to take your experience elsewhere, so you shouldn’t be out of a job. If you still owe GoJet time for a bonus you may need o do the math and think about paying it off.

Melit is one of those few guys that left Xjt and made a lateral move trying to chase the PIC time and now he's just ****ed off that his bad move is biting him in the butt. Now he is stuck at another regional with no future and will have to start all over at the bottom of another list again somewhere when he could have just stayed put and be waiting on his class date for UAL in the next 4-6 months. You know some of the few that was in his initial hire class are all 5 months away from starting class at UAL LOLOLOL I have a friend that is a recruiter at Xjt Melit, Xjt/Ual is hiring! try to go back! hahahah

It isn’t a bad job market if there is a furlough. Many of the bonus contracts leave an “out” for repayment should a pilot end up being furloughed.

Too bad GoJet is not ALPA though. Although, someone will pick them all up.

If your friend is a recruiter he sure didn't do you any favors.. Why are classes still empty?
