Delta won't move airplanes from one regional to another during the busy summer months. Memorial day to labor day is when airlines make some of their best money of the year. I suspect Delta planes will start moving September or soon after that.

United CRJ 700s have to be parked 1 for 1 when an Expressjet EMB 175 is delivered. A regionals schedule is done months in advance and so are aircraft delivery dates. There's a whole panic inducing plan and schedule for removing planes from Gojet that we're not allowed to see. So long as the CRJ 550 isn't approved, a Gojet 700 gets removed from the schedule when a Expressjet 175 gos in to service.

The only people who know the length of the contract more than likely have a signed NDA. So either you don't know or that person is in breach of contract?

No I don’t know. And your comment supports what I said in a post either on a different thread. That information is hard to come by being that TSH is a privately held company. However, several posters mentioned that some form of communication came from the company regarding the extension of the Delta contract to 2023

I looked. On the Delta side. Zero-two daily flights to CVG. By the end of October, it's 0-1. In November, any day with more than two flights to CVG, Endeavor has one. No more DTW beginning Oct 1.

163 in AMA for paint now, 159 goes in when 163 comes out. Then on to TUS for new interior. DL 700 flying contract up in 09\2019. The 900's have flying scheduled until 2023. It doesn't say who will be flying them though. 154 & 157 sitting and waiting their turn. It's all in LITO.

There is no CRJ-550 and there never will be.

It was a sales gimmick that didn't fool anyone, except a few easily fooled pilots. Of corse we like to believe things despite all evidence to the contrary. "Captains the fire continues, both wings have now fallen off, and I can't get it out of this spin!" "Well, sometimes a guy just has to face reality and admit the obvious, it might be a rough landing. Yes, pilots always assume they will figure out a way to save the day, that is why they are pilots.

So Expressjet is getting about 4 175s per month, is that correct? If so then Gojet will be grounding 4 per month until it gets them down to 50 seats.

Is there anything in United scope that the type of airplane can only be certified up to 50 seats? American used to have that requirement.

If Gojet cannot fly their 700s with only 50 seats, then I imagine that United and the Union will merely come to an agreement that allows them to continue flying in spite of the scope clause.

Otherwise, Gojet pilots are screwed. Imagine that, it's not like every pilot at Gojet hired after 2008 has not had fair warning via this website.

But none of this is what really makes it funny. What is funny is the fact that there are pilots sitting at home having recently interviewed at Gojet, who are hoping and praying that they get that call that they are hired!

All the headlines on these articles mistate the facts. Mitsubishi is not buying the CRJ manufacturing business, only the maintenance and logistics.

So, a week after Bombardier said it would not split the business the business is split, with the part they are keeping to close in just over a year.

So Delta flying has already started leaving at 2 planes per month and United flying going down by 4 planes a month, does anyone have a plan?

Gojet has a solid reputation for only hiring the best people in management willing to work for 1/4 of what real managers are making. What are these Top People going to do? Steve Briner, what is the plan? Wait, he is gone after bringing the on-time down to about 10% and firing people on medical leave. Randy Bratrcher, VP of Ops, where is that Navy pilot leadership? Wait, after firing a reservist for going on military leave and a pilot/attorney for being on medical leave, together costing the company over 2 million dollars probably, he was asked to leave and is now an FO at Atlas.

I guess we are at that point where Success is thrown upon someone. Who will step forward and save G7!

Well all that talk that the 550’s would be brand new aircraft is bunk.... wonder if this will derail the CRJ550 certification process...
