Sweet quote. Still doesn’t change the fact to be a 121 captain you have to have 1,000 hours of 121, or that they are hiring NEC right now.

Every time Expressjet gets a 175, Gojet loses ability to fly a 700. Delta continues to take 2 per month. So Gojet loses 6 planes a month times 10 pilots per plane, that is 60 pilots fewer needed per month. Shortage is suddenly over for G7. Furloughs to begin.

If you don't hear a solution to the 550 problem by the end of tomorrow I think we can conclude G7 is over and just not telling everyone until they have to. The United MEC can waive scope for G7 to keep flying but limit the seats to 50. If they don't and United refuses to test that, it is over.

Unless of course if American has them start flying for them. That might happen too.
All of this is not true. We’ve only taken 2 from you since April. The next schedule for transfer at Delta isn’t until October. The current (in my OPINION) plan does include taking all of the delta tails. At a rate of 2 per month starting November...in my OPiNiON of course.

If I were to sum up all I have heard on the topic, my conclusion is that Delta is done with Hulas. The big wigs at Skywest are said to be convinced that they will be getting all of the Delta Compass flying. Anyone know why?

FWIW, the big wigs at Endeavor are said to be convinced that we'll be getting all of the Delta GoJet flying. Could be a coincidence, or could be stringing along. It wouldn't be the first for either.

The 2500hrs is just a G7 requirement. OO has the same thing, although they’ve been known to waive it if there aren’t enough qualified FOs with 2500hrs with their bid in.

OO does the same. I’m sure it’s probably standard practice in the industry.
Lots of this for RTP dudes, or it would take 3-4 years for them to upgrade instead of 18months

Lowest RTP is 750 TT, I believe. It’s taking 3-4 years to fly 1600 hours?
