Because back then F9 was hiring a lot of Lakers and Great Lakes was trying stop attrition. They actually asked Compass to do the same. Compass’ response was to go pound said —irony.

Still doesn’t tell me why F9 agreed to stop hiring them. It’s not F9’s problem that Great Lakes can’t staff they airline.

It was a handshake agreement from CEO to CEO. Lakes asked F9 stop.

I just want to remind you that Spirit, Allegiant and all the cargo ACMI's are begging for pilots. Don't ride this crap out any longer. If you're under 30, leave now. get that Boeing or Airbus rating. Please. Get out.
