Multiple sources reporting that the ATL chief pilot kicked pilots out of pilot lounge that were sitting together passing out TA facts. If you are based in atl maybe you should politely voice your displeasure with the chief pilot.

The chitchat forum has a post from the pilot who was trying to share some facts with fellow pilots. His post did not go into much detail. He said the CPO individual who spoke to him did so in a polite manner, and it was not confrontational. The CPO got to him before he had even engaged with anyone. The only material he had was literature produced by councils 108, 66, and 1. His sentiment was that ALPA wanted him to stop, not the CPO. But apparently ALPA had the CPO enforce their will.

Amazing that these people don't realize or appreciate that we live in America. Where those who came before us gave their lives so we could have free speech.

I understand there are certain restrictions on when and where one can speak and make their voice heard. But in this case it was in the pilot lounge area where union activity and consultation has and continues to be promoted. So why this individual who was simply offering to share information that originated from councils of the same union was told to cease and desist is beyond me. It does strike me as Orwellian to a degree. Control the message. It's amazing how ALPA only wants their version of the TA "facts" to be put forth, and will do whatever it can to prevent other voices from being heard.

Interesting stuff.

I might suggest hanging a TA Facts sign/poster from your roll aboard handle to get other pilot's attention. Pair up if possible. Also, have a smartphone setup ready to film any 'interaction' with CPO and P2P types... Just might throw some water on their fires, so-to-speak.
