A contract does not have to be in writing to be enforceable or provable. An offer can be made in the form of an advertisement, come work for Gojet and Gojet will give you this bonus X, with acceptance of the offer being effectuated by going to work for Gojet.
If Gojet survives and still refuses to pay the bonus then you have a court action, if Gojet goes bankrupt then you need to submit a claim to the bankruptcy court and part of the claim may have a priority status. PM me if anyone wants help as I can direct you to people who can help.

If the company required people to repay if they left before a certain period of time, the argument can be made that it was not a bonus, but was in fact prepaid wages. Your union should have fought that on day one. Likewise, depending how it was advertised and written, you may have a case for payment anyway.

Gojet may try and remove it to federal court claiming it requires an interpretation of the CBA. Gojet may try and claim that the issue has to be arbitrated.
Is the union taking a position? Union members are not really supposed to be paid outside of the CBA but your union was willingly looking the other way and letting Gojet do the bonus offers without them bing in the CBA. It goes against the whole concept of collective bargaining.

You could file in a state court that has jurisdiction over Gojet because it operates there on a continuous basis, Denver, Chicago, St Lousi.

hahaha...ya him and the POS whats his face...the old chief pilot...damn what was his name...but those guys always end up at some **** hole country flying or some airline making a **** ass salary like xyz cargo. No way at 40-50 they end up at the big three and especially now the LLCs. Its tuff and will be tuff going forward.
what i have noticed is these guys who make others miserable in this profession are typically weak pilots who project themselves in their fishbowl as knowledgeable in whatever position they latch onto.
GOJET is a perfect example...look back over the best years aviation has ever had...look where these management scum have risen too...
RB...tried for B6 shot down hard, Spiirt I heard didnt work out now at Atlas making 89$ an hour on a 40 yr old 767
Double J...total tool...tried for United...got shot down hard also...guys came out in droves to write letters, then B6 same thing i hear happened...now who knows...
who else oh DF...ya that guy...told me once we didnt need type 4 because it was a star flight and it had to go out on time. Hes what, managing a flight school
Dennis thats it...what a POS bi polar jackoff...hes never going anywhere. He literally ruined peoples lives back in the day.
SanJay...well how much trust does a CRJ 700 have??? ....he can wow his next interviewer with all the amazing info explaining to them how hes 55yrs old applying for a regional job.
so many stories and so many idiots...Thing is...Careful of the toes you step on today...Might be under the Ass you kiss tomorrow...Like when Double J called my best friend for a United Rec...he replied...Dude you were an ******* at G7. Absolutely not.
Btw i did learn allot...besides how not to treat people...i learned allot from our check airmen and finally becoming one it was a great feeling giving back. It was the tuffest job i ever had for so many reasons most of which were because of the people listed above.
