So much misinformation in one paragraph. Gotta love the internet. How can everything you said in one paragraph be so wrong?? Here are some facts...

- The Q3 earnings report was on Aug 10. (3m ago)
- In that same earnings report they talk about possible keeping their 700s and converting them if UA gives them the green light.
- Mesa was the only airline to record a profit every Q during covid.
- Its not that Mesa couldnt get a credit line to pay for the 175s. Its was the rates were jacked up bc airlines have become risky to loan money to
- We have 10 of those 20 175s already on property
- UA has fronted the money for the 175s and has a lease to own type of plan with Mesa. This prevents JO from having to pay those high interest rates.
- No where in the Q3 report does it say Mesa CANT get a loan.
- Mesa has taken $40M of the $200M they could have from the government airlines loan program

People at Mesa are used to people talking **** especially SW guys. But if your going to talk about another company dont spread lies. Nobody knows whats going to happen to the 700s at YV. And the biggest issue is getting that AA contract renewed in Jan. Not anything you said or believe.

Might be so as to avoid distracting finance and management people with year-end number crunching during seasons which were busy for the business. In our case I'm pretty they just didn't want that hanging over their heads during the holidays.
