Surprised no ones bringing up how majority of the 550 flying is being moved to Newark

SKW might be here but they are still a turd like all regionals. You don’t “own” your flying , it’s awarded by your mainline partner. Until you start working for your brand that sells the ticket you are a subcontractor.
it blew my mind when I was at my old regional. Yes I had pride but I understood the “game”. |

............. but nobody knows if GoJet will be here in October. Air Wisconsin treats it's employees with respect and as human beings, nobody is going to say that about Gojet with a straight face or in a total state of denial. Great lakes, just another regional?

You guys realize y’all are arguing over whose turds are the least stinkiest right? High school was years ago, get over it.

Oh, so that is how you determine doing "worse" than ZW and GJ. Well, lets talk about that shall we?
Both carriers have the luxury of being concentrated in one specific geographical area. Our United operation stretches coast to coast, with operations in more hubs than any other express carriers. You obviously have zero clue on what SFO alone does to performance metrics. You obviously have zero clue what DEN does to performance metrics every single afternoon in the summer. You obviously have zero clue about non published ground holds inbound to LAX. We have aircraft that can touch ORD / DEN / SFO in a single day. Maybe you need to ask yourself a question...why exactly does SkyWest get all of this flying and is the largest and most depended on Express carrier of them all? Could it be because we can handle it? You will also notice that SkyWest and UA's numbers seem to hover around the same area more often than not. Why do you suppose that is? |

if this is the case you even narrow this down by base, you will be shocked to learn they lag on individual base metrics most days. If anything they should be better by being larger. If one hub is crap for 3 days straight that’s 50% of zw or G7, it’s like 20% of Skywest. Yet on days when only one hub is crap Skywest does worst. Their controllable delays are worst too, that’s maintenance and crew scheduling, not weather, or ATC.
