Maybe, but one things for sure... You won't be chit'ing on pilots who are trying to raise the bar...

Tell that to the AA pilots, I have a feeling they won't feel the same way!

Oh yeah so expressjet pilots or whoever else won't be taking a dump on us?

You mean Skywet? I didn't know they flew anything with AA colors, am I missing something?

I agree what happened in 2005 was BS but that was now 7 years ago. Most the original guys probably arnt even there. The thing I love most about people on all these forums is they just bash whatever company without ever setting foot there. IMO unless your a current gojeter you have no right to bash the company. And for the TSA guys that are bitter you should blaim your mgt for making it happen.

They probably will very soon. Xjet is submitting a reply to AMr for 140/145 flying.

True, but you can remember the past without bashing current employees who signed on long after what happened 7 years ago and probably started flying a couple years AFTER all that happened.

Not saying you are bashing them, but if there people being left behind trying to go to work, or get home because of something that happened at their company when they were in jr. high or high school, is that really helping the industry and pilots in general? Pilots are pilots, and yes there are times when we screw ourselves and make mistakes but management screws us enough- should we really screw each other on purpose?

In my opinion you're not really getting back at anyone by screwing over a different generation of pilots. Many gojet pilots maybe be trying to get started in aviation which is hard enough as it is without bearing the burden of grudges from something 7 years ago which they didn't commit.

Also there are many republic, comair, and other furloughs at gojet. If someone else wants to kick those guys while they are down by leaving them on the jetbridge that's their choice but I won't.

For all you Internet tough guys. Keep in mind that you are looking upwards of 40% of the pilot group is Furloughed UAL, AMR, TWA, UPS and Comair. Keep that in mind when you are kicking off some guy heading to/from work.
A point to consider, would that guy be recalled if my company wasn't flying my current route?

When you make it to the majors, NOBODY cares where you came from, they want to know what "unit" you flew in.
The hiring board bs is mainly made up of HR people and a few old crusty medically defunct pilots. They do not care about your RJ politics.

Really? Maybe you should take a look at US Airways East vs West debacle right now. There's still a few denying jumpseats to each other. All I'm saying is that I'd never join an airline to "feed my family" if I knew there was an iota of a chance of it being frowned upon in my future. It's also another reason why I didn't go to Gulfstream Academy to go pay to be a First Officer....
