Default Congrats to GoJet!

Just got the email that TSH have signed a Definitive Purchase Agreement for 50 MRJ's with 50 more options.

"The Trans States Holding Company has not made a final decision on which of its three wholly owned airline subsidiaries will operate this aircraft."

Uh, I'd be willing to bet they are going to go to which pilot group is willing to do it for cheapest...sucks to be whipsawed against an airline with a union filled with management.

GoJet started a class of 16 in January and a class of 20 in February with classes to follow each month for several months. Something is up.

Why didn't you congratulate Compass as well?

Since you congratulated a subsidiary of TSH, he was wondering why you didn't congratulate all of the subsidiaries since it hasn't been announced who is flying these things (that is IF they ever show up, I have my doubts).

There's a reason why it hasn't been announced...because they have a carrot to dangle now. Just means that the flying will go to the pilots willing to do it for the cheapest. Any guess why I congratulated GoJet?

Perhaps someone that went to the CVG pilot round up can chime in on what they were told.

Why do you guys always think pilot cost alone is what determines where airplanes go. We are but a small part of the equation.
