If your siding with gojet your idiots, its not the pay/workrules etc, its WHY it was created, and what it stands for! No matter what you gain from working there, you are working at the place that is the next level of the race to the bottom, and I am glad people get why not to work there
And yes Gojet is scum, I would deny them a jumpseat

Sorry, I don't work for Mesa either. Though Freedom was also a load of crap. We can most certainly agree to disagree. You think it's ok to stab another guy in the back and I don't. I can see why we can't meet in the middle.
As for forgiving, don't you have to stop doing something to get forgiveness? I wasn't aware you could get forgiveness for a continuing situation.
You're right, beating this drum IS making my arm tired. I guess I should give up.

UAL guys probably don't care. They have much better things to talk about. I'm sure that's the topic of every conversation in that UAL B767 bound for Tokyo. Hi, I'm Captain Bill, Good to meet you FO Sam, say, what do you think of GoJet? Your ego is much to big if you think those guys give a rat's about you and your bug smasher.

Thats us in the bottom left.
And says, sure maybe those scabs out there got ahead a little bit. But is proud to not be the brown eye of the industry. Helped to show the regulators guys like Lorenzo can never ever be in this industry again, and at least tried to prevent the management mentality that pilots could be sold out (at the time).
Sure the old man could be a 777 capt at somewhere like CAL if he had chose to be a scab. Instead he is a narrow body captain at UAL, but at least he doesnt have to think twice every single time he eats a crew meal, drinks from a cup passed up by the FA, or asks for a jumpseat. He stands behind the few good wages left in this industry, and made sure a guy like Lorenzo would never work in this industry again.
The joke will be on the GOJET guys when they interview at places, where people have the mentality that they are one step above a scab, and TRUST ME it is EVERYWHERE, even the mainline guys, esp those forever FOs that are less than 10 years away from being the people on the hiring board.
Just think back to the 90s, NO MAJOR wanted to hire a scab, because of the level of dispute it created in the work place. This isnt the last time you will see things like this. Everyone is in a big race to the majors, but when they do hire, they do not want PROBLEM, and GOJET will STINK of them.

I can't see the future. Maybe no hiring board will ever care. It's your career, gamble however you like.
Just be aware the grass is always greener someplace else...

Yes, that's exactly what my post was trying to convey, let's give up our jumpseat privilege. Lol, it's exactly that, a privilege that the airlines has given us, it's not contractual. If they wanted to they can put it in the ops specs that jumpseaters WILL be accommodated, taking away our authority to deny jumpseaters, if you have a problem with it feel free to quit.

I can see from your posts why no recruiter from any airline has called you, yet.

I never stated that I wanted a job at a regional....no matter what the position. Not my cup of tea.
Regional Pilots fighting over jobs are like Dung Beetles fighting over ****.
Do Buddhist's teach reading comprehension?
