Point is, the local Teamsters that represents GoJet is a joke. Totally useless. And as I have said a thousand times before, download their contract from the Downloads section at APC Downloads and read Section 3: Management Rights. That section alone should be enough to keep any sane person away from that sham airline.

That section is unreal! How did anybody that knows how to read vote YES to that? I don't care what industry you work in.... Am I reading it wrong or are ALL their pilots pretty much on probabtion? Study up before you try and feed your family working for a company with that kind of language. Life is to short..WOW is all I can say...

Bro, I have a copy under my pillow. You did not have to show it to everyone. Trust hurts bro. I guess I can always go to Skywest and be a lifer in ORD. Section 3 sucks and we all know it. I blame VP for going to Gojet.

The management rights section is similar to what other regional contracts have for their management rights.

Any truth to them getting new insurance separate from TSA so they can drop upgrade and new hire mins? I've heard this from a few people.

Not sure where this so-called "insurance" requirement is coming from....especially with regards to FO flight times.

Reference the hiring practices in 2007-08.

Not sure lowering upgrade experience is a good thing either....but what do I know right?

Supposedly the GoJet insurance premiums fall under the TSA umbrella. The insurance company required all new hires to have 750 tt and upgrades have 4500 tt, after the TSA ERJ ran off the runway in YOW. I've heard they are trying to get select are insurance.
