Default GoJet vs RAH

I was wondering everyone's thoughts. It looks like I have offers from RAH and gojet. I know each have there problems but I am at Colgan so can't really stay there. I really don't want to get into the gojet history but current position. Here is what I know

RAH: it appears like I will be on 145 or q400. Dont really care except for 145 commute would suck. I know they are in contract talks for awhile, heard reserve sucks.

Gojet: heard about jumpseating issues but commute will be on gojet so no big deal. Assumed growth with new delta 50 seat downsize. Young pilot group with quicker upgrade.

I would like opinions from actual employees from each and not all this gojet history junk. I know that comes into play but I know about it. Thanks everyone for your thoughts

RAH has it's concerns with the 145 aircraft. The continental contracts have recently expired and RAH is sitting on several aircraft with leases that aren't flying. This is an economic concern that I would have with the company if I was seeking employment there. They also have contracts with American that will expire at the beginning of 2013. Once those contracts expire and are not renewed, Republic could have over 20 airframes that they would be paying leases on and are not flying. Couple that with the on going labor issues and the Frontier side losing money and a potential chapter 11 could be right around the corner.

There are no more jumpseat issues than with any other airline. I know 2 people that commuted and worked for GoJet. They never had problems and were as welcomed as when they were with UAL.

What you may have heard is probably from these Internet Message Board Tough Guys that are really Drama Queens.

Why do you always weigh in on the GoJets threads? I thought mainline pilots didn't care. (I see 737 as your position)

I'm not quite sure how Delta parking 50s makes more planes appear at GoJetssss. Can you show your math on this assumption?

Because I like to participate in professional pilot message boards and I will contribute, opine, agree or call BS where I see fit. I wasn't aware that there were message board fences between different parts of the profession.

My brother and a close friend flew for Go Jet and have never had an issue with being shunned, never felt the need to turn around their ID's() and never had trouble jumpseating....nor have they heard such from other GJ pilots.

Often times, someone sincerely wants information on GJ without the BS or drama. Inevitably, these threads deteriorate into an immature bash session and juvenile IBTL posts.

People should be able to post questions without the thread drifting and without harassment.
