DENIED!!!

The company says in the same sentence that we are overstaffed yet short reserves. It can be one but not the other in my book.

I heard that they were looking for 70-80 by the end of the year. Attrition, rest rules, future growth?

We were told in recurrent that new hires were for "attrition and the new rest rules." That's worth almost nothing around here.

30 reserve lines in ord out of 100 FO's And adding more pilots ? That's like 30% . Sounds fat to me . I thought 15% was normal and 10% pushing it for reserves

Can someone shed some light on base preference as a new hire. Im currently in So Cal and willing to move wherever. I know the reserve schedule is gonna suck, but willing to do what it takes to make it livable.

If you live in So Cal and want to make commute life easier, apply at SkyWest. We have bases littering the west coast.

I'm from SoCal too.

Some people tend to forget not too long ago people were saying negative things about SkyWest and look where we at today.
