I think that's it. Feel free to correct me if I forgot anything.

Truthfully it depends who you ask.

Certainly 117 and attrition play an important role in our need to hire, however there are rumors floating around of additional growth ( in truth, they have been floating around for a year or so).

appreciate the hiring info.

APC lists "Most junior captain (non-direct entry) hired: Dec 2012 (STL)", also 510 total/active pilots

so the most recent captain upgrade was based on a 250+ pilot attrition/growth/117 during past 11 months....or am I missing something? thanks!

So with GoJet being one of the regionals with reasonable upgrade times, is this still the mismanaged airline it once was? Are the pilots happier bunch than the ones at Republic?

Default GoJet updates

No more mismanaged than any other regional. Reserve is probably the worst of them all so reserve guys are not happy. At all..... If you have a line life at G7 is not so bad.

What's your average time on reserve? Did you guys say that FSI does your training and checkrides?

Seven,
Check out the end of page 52 and most of page 53 of this thread.
I don't think much has changed since then......

One thing that worries me is I keep reading that GoJet pilots don't have a future with majors/legacy airlines in the future when trying to move up. Anyone want to shed some light on this? Is there any truth in this? I am not looking for smart comments as I do see GoJet getting a lot of hatred among pilots.

I also read that GoJet pilots struggle with jumpseating with other airlines? What is that about?

How are the benefits with GoJet? Are they relatively the same as other regionals?

The company puts out a monthly newsletter that includes how many pilots have resigned and where they were going, if they offered. It seems like about 6-8 people are leaving per month (We only have 446 guys on the seniority list at the moment). Most have gone to United, USAir, JetBlue, and Spirit over the last few months. People don't seem to be having any problems at all getting hired elsewhere.

The benefits are pretty standard. United Health Care, Delta Dental, and flight benefits with United and Delta. The 401k match is not great.
