I don't know what GTOs are, but at RAH, it's 11 days off for reserves and they can't touch any of your days off at all. PERIOD

Time to raise the bar! Geebus!

Also, what does the no cancellation pay mean? You still get the minimum guaranty correct?

Correct, this would be for above guarantee cancellations ...officially they are pretty close to a contract the final (but most tenuous ) parts have been submitted . I would expect something pretty quick now given the state of the industry. However they will make a "following" move on another airlines contract ..you can count on that . They will not risk a single sentence being industry leading.

Reserves get 3 days a month that are absolutely Guranteed off meaning you cannot be extended or jr manned etc.(I've only been juniored once in 4 years ) Line holders get 6 a year

Only 3 days off would be grossly illegal and out of touch....

I know what you meant. Thats why i used the term hard day off. You only get 3! What scares me is you talk about this like its not a horrible thing. The contract i work under is terrible, but every day off is a hard day off. I dont care how often its worked against you, this may be the worst thing ive seen in anyones contract.

Nice, so a commuting reserve only has to be available short call 4 days a month

Fortunately most people have lines here unless they live local and bid reserve. You would practically have to be right off IOE to get stuck on reserve. Overall I think this is a move in the right direction.

Seriously, is that true? Great news!
When is this starting? Is it in the new contract?
Things are moving in the right direction, way to go Commutair! I believe they started this...

4 hotel rooms a month is the equivalent of less than 200 per month. Much cheaper for the company than paying market rate for pilots. Still no cancelation pay. You will still make $1000 a month less than if you go to an airline with a real contract. Plus, you end up working 3 more days a month because of their poor work rules, so the 4 days a month of hotels is the equivalent of 1 day at a real regional. And what will they make you go through to get those hotel rooms? It took several months to get a parking pass, so they would pay up to 40 a month for you to park somewhere else. Try finding parking at O'Hare for $2 per day! They never did pay me the $40, nor did they ever return my phone calls about it. Every single day you live with the threat that they will fire you if you ask them for what you are owed. Finally you just stop asking. You get what they choose to actually give you.

Exactly. Throwing a bare bone to the dogs while the rest of the regionals are feasting. I do like this move though as now TSA and Compass will almost assured get the same deal.

New to all this and not decided on a regional yet, but can you explain to me how one would be paid $1000 less per month? Is it because of no cancellation pay? Looking at the 1st year pay, all regionals pay pretty much the same miserable wage!
All I was saying is this move goes in the right direction, hopefully more regionals will offer 4 free hotels per month.
