Anyone hear anything about 95% guarantee pay from GoJet?
The upgrade time at SkyWest is a 4 years, and falling quickly, there is a lot of movement right now. ORD is their 2nd most Jr. domicile and has a lot of good trips, and diverse flying.

It would only be a month or two to hold a line in ORD with SkyWest.

If not SkyWest, choose TSA over BlowJet, not even a question.

No one cares about 2005 anymore and that isn't why people are telling new guys to avoid GoJet like the plague. It's a horrible company that treats its employees poorly. That's why the OP shouldn't go to GoJet. And if he wants opinions of why he shouldn't go there, I can put him in touch with current and former employees who will advise him against it. But after this thread I don't know if he'll need any more convincing.

How about SKW, TSA and Gojet?
Talking to people working at g7, things are not that bad. Short reserve, $8000 bonus, 4 free hotels/month for commuters, 18 months to upgrade and more planes coming and yes there is a press release about it: http://m.atwonline.com/airframes/goj...delta-regional
New contract almost finalized and with cx pay (this part I will believe when I see). So, G7 Seems to have become a regional just like any other regional.
I would love to hear more objective opinions from G7 pilots.
What I heard about SKW, great company, but no much flying on reserve and a lot of complaining lately. Upgrade at 4 years and maybe falling?
I have a good idea about these 3 offers but want to see some objective feedback.

With TSA more than doubling it's fleet size, and having a better contract I see this as a no brainer. And I'd get the Hell out of Florida...there's no easy commute from it's southern tip.

Not much flying on reserve? I know a pretty senior guy in my base who bid reserve for weekends off in Feb and easily broke guarantee. If flying is what you want I can only imagine what junior folks are experiencing. Not to mention are people even on reserve more than a month or two?

If you have a chance to go to BlowJet or another airline, always choose the other airline.

If your only place to go is BlowJet, then you need to get out of aviation. My advise is the same no matter what they pay.

This is your career we are talking about.

I'm not a big fan of TSA either.

After my last flight at Gojet, the Chief Pilot asked me how I was going to get home. I told him I was going to catch a jumpseat. He said I might enjoy taking a train. Turns out they had already ended my jumpseat. They had also ended my medical coverage and that of my family several weeks before when they found out I would be leaving. I didn't know that till I started getting all the unpaid bills. You only leave once but they do this 10 times a month. They have a system and it saves them a lot of money. I had to pay the medical coverage for 2 months they should have covered, cost me 1596 per month totaling 3192. My last few months of pay were all short. That 8000 they offer ends up not being much after you take into account what you lose at the end. And with no cancelation pay you lose another 1000 per month each month you are there.
I am not complaining, I did enjoy the 7 hour train ride home. It had internet although it was intermittent.

I think leaving "When leaving GoJet " has been beat to death on this forum...there is also an exit strategy at other crap wholes like EK. Not that GoJet is as bad as EK...but they at least treat the flight attendants the same

TSA does have a better contract.

Do this ...pick one
Get your butt flying logging every hour burning jetA you can...

While doing this begin applying to Every Single Airline you might want to work for...every month update on time...go to WIA, open houses, road shows...meet people shake hands get business cards...

When you do have the time you will have two years of applying under your belt...leave ASAP.
