Of course you will have a better contract after you are stapled to the bottom of the TSA list after the merger.....

I just finished my commute home so I didn't see the posts that were deleted. I'm with you bro. I have friends at TSA. I'm based at STL so I see TSA guys all the time and I don't have a problem with any of them. We always chat and they all seem like good people. I just don't like the crap people spew on here where we are all in the same position. To get your time and experience and get out. Like I said I'm STL base so if anyone wants to have a man face to face chat with me just send me a PM and we'll set it up.

Lot of guys leaving to JBU and UAL at the moment so don't believe the crap people spill on here about tarnishing your career. I myself have an interview next month at another major 121 carrier so it's worked out for me.

I don't need to say our contract sucks. It does. Really bad. We all know it and everyone in this industry knows it. Look how long TSA took to finally get theirs. But I will say whenever hell freezes over and we do get one it will be better than TSA's.

That's all I got. Now to wait for the trolls.
Its not the line pilots who are the problem, its what management is willing to do to you to save a dollar. When your family needs the medical coverage that you have been paying for, you should not count on it being there. Don't count on the union to uphold your rights, they don't know how, they may want to but they don't what to do. I've been at good airlines and I've been at Gojet, there is a difference. Good luck with the interview TheGoldenJet, G7 will miss your recruiting efforts.

I agree with you 110%. I'm not defending them one bit. I know they are the problem. I was just stating how my tenure has been here so far. I'm sorry if you've been screwed. Luckily I haven't yet. Keyword "yet". I'm sure it's coming. And by no means am I recruiting anyone. Just telling it like it is.

Could somebody explain what this means, "Not cancelation pay, the named honored hours, and the pay you at the end of the monht up to 98 % of your cancelled flights" ? It's from the airline profile page on here. Thanks!

Refer to Mccaskill-Bond.
This is true if both carriers are Union labor protected.

I know we are paid our line guarantee (74 hours) or 95% of our awarded line. Whichever is greater. As far as the 98% thing I'm not too sure.

No idea. Would be nice if they stopped upping the bonuses and just give us a damn contract already.

GoJet has signed a deal with ATP for tuition reimbursement.
-interview at 300 hours and receive $5 per flight hour flown up to 1500TT.
-once hired, receive $500 per month for the first year for tuition reimbursement.

Has the union signed off on this? Thoughts?
