GoJet Contract

I hear from a friend at GoJet that numerous Pilots are not even planning on voting for or Against their new TA. This would be a horrific abdication of personal responsibility for their group and Regional Pilots at large. Only a Sheep lets others make decisions for them. No Pilot In Command or aspiring Pilot in Command, ie,. SIC should be allowed to make decisions in the CockPit/BoxOffice if they can't even thoughtfully consider their Contract and make the effort to mouse click their approval or Disapproval.......

food for thought........

GoJet will still have to offer MASSIVE NEW HIRE BONUSES to attract First Officer Candidates.....$36/hour alone will not cut it....many other regionals are getting to $36...

What do the Rank an File Get?

Cmon Gojet......GO GET!!!

I know several who are voting no because of some of the contract language.

I'm not hearing this at all from the pilot group. Everyone thinks we can do better. There will always be those guys who don't care but from my unscientific poll, a vote of NO should be the majority. Vote NO NO NO.

Straight up, this contract is trash. Nothing industry standard about it. I don't know anyone who's NOT going to vote on this TA so stop spreading rumors. Union is already going around trying to scare everyone saying a no vote will be disastrous with a possible consolidation into TSA. Not sure what all that means for us, but seriously, it's hard to agree to the language in this contract. Not even remotely competitive or industry standard. The contract has more holes than swiss cheese. We do the same work as our sister companies, fly larger aircraft than TSA, yet are not held to the same contract standard. NO.

Worst case scenario and you're merged... TSA has better pay and contract. I'd tell them to "bring it".

If you consider how the airline got it's start, that's not really surprising at all.

(Couldn't resist. It's been SO LONG since I checked a gojet thread!)

+1. Bring it. It's all scare tactics. This contract has more holes than Spaghetti-o's. Vote No.

This is funny.. Gojet created to get around TSA contracts, now merged back in? lol.

Depending on how they merge the lists merging with TSA might not be a bad thing, a lot of street captains at TSA

We don't hire street captains. Only cqfo's and most of them are already upgraded.
