Purely anecdotal but that's going the way of the dodo as well. I'm sure it's still on the books, but Chair Force enlisted, in theatre, have no grooming or physical fitness standards enforced. It's pretty bad when middle age contractors are in better shape and groomed to a higher standard than those in uniform.

As long as I make it to 55 to hang it up (7 years to go baby) and never have to step foot on an plane again or shave if I don't want to. That'll be just swell. Let the new kids worry about how good their flying looks (or whatever it is they're into).
