Default Tall Pilots?

I'm 6 foot 4 inches, and a lot of my height is in my torso (my legs aren't particularly long). As a result, I often run into headroom issues before I have legroom issues. I can sit just fine in a PA-28, but some small planes (Comanche, C-150) have my head almost touching the ceiling.

The cockpit of some airliners - particularly the 737 - seems like it'd be a tight fit for me. Do those pilot seats adjust downwards? I'd hate to finish my training only to find out I can't fit!

There's a 6'7" pilot at UPS.

He flies the 75/76 which is roomier, but after putting up with a T-37, everything would be.

Haven't heard him complain.

I’m 6’7” and have flown everything from Cessna 402, Metro III, King Air C90/200, Lear 31A, Citation XLS, and finally got a cockpit I can stand up in on a Airbus. It’s a pain being this tall but doable.

Question

What about short pilots?

What is the other end of the spectrum?

I'm 6ft 4 and have flown everything from tomohawks and Senecas to B1900 and 737/A320. Never had any problems at all.

I’m 6’7 and have flown Piper Warriors, C172s, C150s, Barons, Seminoles, ATR-72, E145s, and now a King Air E90. The only uncomfortable one was a C150

You will be just fine in any jet airliner.

Maybe not lears though.
