The so called middle of market airplane could be a nice compliment to a E195? The 195E2 can hold 130+ pax (single cabin). Then a new middle of market Boeing could start at 180 seats and get stretched from there...
Just a thought
Boeing is concerned about Airbus's ability to offer a more complete product line to customers going forward - from 100-120 seat range all the way to the A350-1000 and A380. Boeing abdicated the sub 130 market when they stopped building the 717 and 737-500/600.

Ironic that Boeing is claiming financial damage from the Delta/Bombardier deal when all Boeing had to offer was used Air Canada E190s to Delta... And this potential deal with Embraer shows they currently have nothing to offer in the 100-130 seat range.... Ridiculous!!!!

I have to agree, just rode home on one. On the 737 my EFB bag just barley fits under the seat in front of me, it leaves zero room for my feet. In the 175 plenty of foot room with same bag. The Bus is much better but still has the dreaded middle seat possibility.

Pretty sure the 737 OH is the same as that cave with the pre historical Bison drawing and hand prints.

I wonder how many Boeing executives are hanging around Mar-a-lago? It is pretty sad how our government has turned into a pay to play scam, where we will toss our closest allies under the bus to sponsor some executive kickbacks.

I'm guessing that when Boeing introduces a brand new type that there is some incentive pricing to get the ball rolling. According to our Treasury Department selling airliners is the same as selling hamburgers.

Pretty much every government is like that, because it is the nature of government... which is why it should always be kept small, limited, and restrained
