Default Tattooed wives

My wife is considering getting her first tattoo, at 45 years old. She’s asked for my thoughts. I guess I don’t much care if she wants one, but I don’t really get it.

If your wife has tattoos, do you care? Do you like them on her? Just curious since they seem so widespread these days.

I think they are nasty looking and show poor personal judgement. But that's just my opinion.

I just wonder what it would be like to walk out with blank skin, and to leave with something permanently etched into my skin!!

My wife is handicapped from a stroke, and she wants to get the date of her stroke and her first EEG graphic tattooed on her rib cage.

Getting a henna tat done first (which washes off in a few weeks) could be an option to "try it on"

With the media frenzy surrounding Stormy Daniels I know more than a few people have noticed the pre and post-tattoo pics. Of course I haven’t seen the pics, my friend, yeah that’s it, my friend told me that he could look at them either way.

Personally, tats aren’t for me, but who am I to say what others should do with their own bodies?

As long as it can be covered up by a long sleeve shirt, who cares?

I’m neutral on the issue, have none myself. If the wife wanted one, especially smallish and discreet, doubt I would care.

Some bodies seem to lend themselves more favorable for a ‘tat’ or three.

On layover in Punta Cana, the body without a tattoo is almost the oddball. I’d think there are regrets with some. Nothing wrong with the small ones where one can cover up as needed.

I just learned the meaning of the ‘semicolon’ tattoo the other day, suicide survivor or similar.

If your wife wants it, all the power to her.
Personally I’m not crazy about dates, kids faces or poems.
I do like the eastetics of Asian tattoos.
Maybe encourage something that celebrates her life rather then just a date.

I dated a girl with her last name tattooed on the small of her back. I felt like I was disrespecting her family when I left a map of Hawaii on it.

Good way to avoid the crazy ones.
