First off, Not sure why everyone's panties are in a bunch over this. Most pilots here will be in the grave before air travel is obsolete and there will be computers flying them way before that, so no need to worry about pilot positions.

Secondly, there is no reason why humans ( Americans) shouldn't strive for a world that has the least impact on the planet as possible we need this place to last. Trying to get rid of burning fossil fuels is a good start. No reason not to dream big, there are barriers to what she (they propose) so that dream will be whittled down to a small step that's better for the future of the planet and your children.

Stop worrying about the socialism boogy man and take a look at what she proposes. Most of what she proposes aren't bad ideas, except maybe giving everyone a job, that's laughable. Saving the planet from increasing temperatures, making buildings more efficient, overhauling the transportation industry is all good. Pilots are eventually going the way of the horse whip manufactures, get used to it.

Before you cry, "How are we going to pay for it." As yourself how were we ever going to pay for any of the stuff the government gives us? There never seems to be a plan for that, Republican or Democrat.
