Agreed. I'd feel safer flying into a difficult airport with bad weather on any regional than on a mainline widebody with every pilot 60+ years old and barely current.

But now I'm realizing my statement is also toolish and generalizing. 🤔

Reading comprehension not your strong suit I see.

Yeah, as one of the "over 50" that has flown with the "close to 70", be careful what you wish for.

The guy at the end suggesting to open more fixes. Worse than the QRH dude.

That’s my fault. It was a joke that didn’t land.

In all seriousness, though, I wish many guys would forget more so I don’t have to suffer through 727 stories when I’m trying to read the New Yorker.

I guess it’s just generational. I used to love learning about both my profession and proper ALPA mentoring from the “old farts”.

Don’t hang this on my generation. I’m not their representative.

Maybe that's why scope relief and a legit B-scale was voted in, because you listened too much to the "old farts."

Sounds like you could use a history refresher yourself. But then again, throwing out one liner insults gets you more style points on a web forum in the eyes of the uninformed.

Here’s a clue: The United strike was not only about a b scale( which was eventually removed, but had Ferris and the scabs won, would still be here today).

Also, we sure could have used your super millennial negotiating skills when the company put a gun to our head during bankruptcy re: scope. Man, we could have had it all!
