ATC does that all the time, it's called anticipated separation.

Ok I managed 4 minutes into the video.
Apart from the ‘type A I’m always right and everybody else is always wrong’.......
You can expect this when you put yourself out there.

That's not what he said at all.

And he is a former fighter pilot, I hope he is a "Type A"

This is sadly true.

Wow.

The pilot in question does absolutely nothing wrong, and then some student pilot (with a very unique name) rats him out to the FAA. What a complete tool.

Aviation is a very small world. The student pilot is trying to become a professional pilot, and even has a go fund me page setup to beg for money. Good luck breaking into the industry with that kind of attitude and karma.

How do you know he was a student pilot and what does a name have to do with it?
Unless that has some racist undertone to it?
How do you recognize a fighter pilot in a social gathering? First thing he’ll tell you...I have a 1000 hrs in the F-16....
I just don’t think his complaint video is a smart idea considering he’s already in the spot light.
May bring unwanted attention to other videos.
And what’s the deal with the merchandise?

I believe ATC can only do this on a forward high speed (not sure though I'm not on that side of the radio)

while I would not rat a guy out to the FAA for something like that(not by a longshot), the guy filming this was wrong as far as FAR/AIM is concerned.

moral of the story, don't post a video of you flying online unless you are willing to have every facet dissected by everyone out there.

I used to know a guy who failed a 44709 for switching to GND freq while still on the runway.
TWR told him ‘vacate next right, contact GND’ and he did what the majority of us do, switch.
I’m sure you’ll get a word from your POI if not outright fail a 135 check if you do that or if you call ‘runway vacated’ when you’re not at a non towered airport.

Uh, no. I really doubt that would happen.
