Okay, maybe you believe that Antifa (or other anarchists) aren’t organized enough to strategically place rioters across different cities based on need. But what about protestors/rioters who, through their own means, travel to these cities to be part of the mayhem? It’s been publicized that many who get arrested are from out of state.

Moreover, some of those arrested come from good upbringings, Ivy League schools, and high paying careers. For example, I remember reading about two Biglaw attorneys who were caught throwing Molotov cocktails at NYPD officers a few months ago. Not exactly the profile you’d call a “thug”, but this is happening.

It could be some find this behavior exciting and want to be part of it. Who knows.

No way to know the ratio of protestors to rioters/looters.
It's just less wealthy people traveling because it's cheap and they're too dumb to believe in covid. It's the same kind of crowds at all the hotels.

Haha. I flew AA last month to Norfolk. Passengers wearing face masks that said “F### Injustice” and the mask didn’t have the ###. How this makes it down the jetbridge, past agents, past FAs etc. AllI’m saying is AA be flying some trash these days too, everyone does; and this is from a Spirit guy who has flown on Spirit a bunch. I know who flies on us and don’t think for a minute your Basic Economy fares are bringing in the best.

But I love our passengers. In the end, they will be the first to come back and fly and that’s the reason why we were able to currently avoid furloughs without having to send a concession TA out to the pilot group for ratification.

I’ve noticed a bit of a rougher crowd too. I simply attribute it to the folks that are feeling unemployment (free time it travel) coupled with stimulus/unemployment Money (cash available to spend on travel).

Always fun to spot those who merely sip the Qool-Aid, and those who chug it.

Some pilots only see the first 4 rows of their plane and can’t see the rows behind the curtain, where the real characters are.

I keep the cockpit door closed during boarding now. I usually get a sideways look from the FA’s but it’s for the best. Let us just focus on flying the airplane and nothing more.

There’s no business travelers right now. Tickets are cheap bringing the ultra leisure crowd to the normally business and family airline. At spirit I’m noticing our clientele is about the same as usual maybe a little rougher but not much. Other airlines just aren’t accustomed to carrying this type of passenger. Some of these folks you’ll find have never been on an airplane before.

I was downtown Atlanta a few weeks ago and it was noticeably quiet. I was thinking man there are more crackheads than usual. Really there weren’t more crackheads it was the same but they weren’t mixed with the. Busy business crowd as pre Covid. What you’re seeing at the legacy airlines is a similar phenomenon. Nothing more
