Let's see...Here's a coupla tips when you get to the hotel:

1. Toss bedspread in the corner somewhere; you don't want to know what's on it. Guess how often they're cleaned.

2. Inspect sheets and mattress for evidence of bedbugs or other six-legged vermin.

3. Also look for pubies; some places cheap out on laundry!

4. If it applies, wake up a few minutes early to throw your FA out. Inspect your pubies for evidence of six-legged vermin.

5. And on the van at oh-dark-thirty, that you were on time for, please understand that no one is in the mood for loud, banal conversation or inane cell phone chatter. Who the eff needs to bleat on the cell phone at oh-dark-thirty anyway?

I sent a PM to de727ups asking that exact same question and never heard a word back. Either I'm being ignored or its very hush-hush. Never really liked the guy but I'm curious why he would've been banned.

Careful now, you don't want to come off as critical. Criticizing the mods decision in public is also grounds for infractions/banishment to FI.

P.S. I didn't even know TD got banned...

Step #1- Who's that passed out next to you...
Step #2- Did I do anything incriminating last night...
Step #3- Where am I? and What time do i need to be down for the van...

Oh yeah, mix a shower/shave in there and breakfast...you know, if there's time

In other news...what kind of numbnut starts a thread like this!? I realize this is a "free" and "open" forum for "professional" pilots but who needs to ask advice on when to get up in the morning? Are there seriously 20 somethings who are working at the airlines who can't figure out when they need to roll out of bed to be downstairs at specific time? I realize that spiking hair and making a playlist for the day on the iPod takes time but CHRIST! If you have to convene a committee to answer this question then you probably suck at life.

Ok, rant over. I'm a little peeved that UT beat Miami so I apologize if this seems a little harsh

Get up 1 hour before van time.
Run to the hotel office center to copy that adult film bill you've been carrying around for pranks.
Steal your fellow crewmembers' USA Today and slip a copy of the bill under each of their doors.
Get ready, forget the gel and axe, and be the first one down in the lobby.
