I flew with a captain who would take the old charts and highlight our route of flight on them. Then he'd slap a sticker with some info about the flight and have the flight attendant give them to the kids on the plane. Nice lil' PR tool...

Serious idea, for those with kids, you could multilayer them on a wall and let your aspiring pilots draw on them at will....although that could lead to other walls with preflight planning markings, but hey, they're kids

Recycle, recycle recycle.
Recycle the release, the daily message, recycle scrap paper, i keep all that **** in my flight bag until the end of the trip and toss it in the recycle bin when i get home and i re-use the same water bottle for a couple of weeks (after washing it out of course).
Its not too hard to do and its a huge impact if you think about it.
