I'm from Europe but not really a big FOOTBALL fan, but when it's time for Eruopean- or World Championship I enjoy watching it.
Too bad Sweden let in a losing goal with only one minute left against Spain . But in all honesty we kinda deserved it..

I was pulling for Sweden too and that was a painful goal. Here's the video:

I couldn't find a video with English commentary, so it's in Arabic. Check out the two ladies at the top of the page .

My money is on Portugal. Mom and Dad were born there. The tournament is going great. Some good games so far. I loved seeing NED spank France and the Russians beating the last Euro cup winners.

Crazy Turkey-Czech game!

I was pulling for the Czechs but the Turks had an AMAZING come back. Congrats to them. What a dramatic end too with Volkan being sent off. I bet Koller said something to him on purpose, he almost pulled a Zidane. Great game, shame to see the Czech Rep. go, they are a strong team. Congradulations again to Turkey, second game now in a row they have made an awesome comeback.

So far I may have missed 3 games of the Euro.. nothing else to do while sitting on reserve, and I cant think of a better way to kill time.

Turks did deserve it.

Today :

Poland - Croatia

Germany - Austria

Austria I believe has minimal chances at beating Germany, although the Austrians show glimmers of good football every once in a while.

Croatia have a strong squad, and if the right Poland shows up, I think they are capable of winning. Hopefully they do, to make up for the Germany game, as well as the Austrian upset, which they got completely screwed over by the ref. He decided the outcome of that game.

I didnt think Greece would be out already.

They showed really good defense in their games, but their offense was pretty weak, I thought, and therefore the lack of goal scoring. They couldnt put anything together, and that hurt them.

That and the team is old, they need to bring up young talent. Needs to happen soon for the World Cup qualifying.
