However, I want to go on record as saying that I completely disagree with the title of this thread. If there is a god, he/she/it is certainly NOT blessing Texas. Texas is a blight on the good name of this country, and the rest of us would be very happy if you all would quit threatening and secede already.

Yes, I would. Don't care if they were white, black, or brown. Don't want to get shot? Don't come to my house to threaten the safety of my family. I guarantee you the person who breaks into my house, again, what color they are makes no difference to me, will not be walking out of it. The ONLY difference would come from third party sources. Meaning, if they were blacks that were shot, you can bet your next paycheck our favorite race pimps would be down there "fighting for the rights" of those criminals. I am having trouble understanding you, as all I hear is a load of crap. There are many things that God, (there is, just to clear that up) is not proud of. What you fail to realize is that these things happen everywhere, not just Texas. I could go all day on this, but I am guessing anyone with this (see above qoute) view has already tuned me out. I guess facts weigh no importance in today's society, only misconceptions.

People are now trying to throw the vigilante label on this guy. A Vigilante goes out looking for criminals, these criminals came to him. I'm not from Texas, I'm from Florida and live in Texas. Florida actually says eminent castle extends to your neighbor if you are defending them or their property. In that way Florida actually gives gun owners MORE freedoms.

For the record, Texas was its own country, the US decided they wanted it.

 

Ha, You can't play the race card if your white. Nobody likes illegal immigrants or career criminals, I can understand that. But say in the future two young kids decide to screw up and go steal something from a house. Do you think that it would be right for a neighbor to shoot them in the back when they are unarmed, not in that persons house, and pose no risk to that neighbor? Because that is what this case will allow to happen in the future. This guy became the police, the jury, the judge, and the executioner all by himself and it was over something that did NOT even affect him. From listening to that 911 call it really sounds like this guy might have some mental issues. He says I am going to kill them, goes outside says stop and shoots at the same time, and then is somehow traumatized by the event that he put himself in.
