Does your wife/partner give you a hard time for getting on APC every so often? Is it just me?

 

Depends on how serious it is given that there are varying degrees of "hard time" and "every so often". And not knowing your circumstances, I am hardly in a position of offering an opinion, but if you spend more time on APC then with her, then yeah, it's probably deserved.

That said, I share some of the stories I read here with my wife and she actually knows who I am talking about when I mention names like Jungle, FlyorDie, Vagabond or HSLD. She also likes Jungle's and FoD's pictures. Actually had one of FoD's as her wallpaper for a while, the volcano one from about a month ago.

Anyway, If it's an issue, we'll still be here when you get back. Your wife may not be. Get off APC and go spend some time with her. Mine is watching TV right now and then we are going for a walk after.

Edited to add: It helps that my wife used to be in the airplane business. It's where we met actually.

haha .... it's not too bad... she just pokes fun about being on a forum about your job...

 

I don't get on the forums while at home, unless there's nothing going on at home. So it's usually at the office or while I'm on the road. That keeps her off my back about that, but other issues, well that's a whole different ball-game there!

 

My girlfriend gets very irritated when I bring a flight attendant home...go figure...
