Default Pay for aerial surveying

Not sure if this is the right place for this one so if it isin't im sorry. Im trying to figure out how much aerial surveying guys make, so I can give a friend an estimate. I know it probably depends on the plane so if anybody knows ball park amounts for a single versus a twin and possible versus turbine that would be great. Thanks in advance.

In 2006-07 I was paid $450/wk flying a 172. No per diem, but hotel/rental car (and gas, as long as I wasn't driving cross country on days off) was paid for.

in 2005/2006 i flew aztecs and navajos for just over 31k. big difference to most other companies out there was we were home just about every night. i only saw a few trips a year where i stayed out for a night or more. the guys going out for a month or more should make a good bit more. i knew of another company doing just that flying azwreks and jo's, and they started at around 45k.
