Played saxophone professionally several decades ago. Was quite good, won a national jazz award once in the student category. Got fed up with the night club scene after a while although I was performing with many of the best professionals in Cincinnati at the time, a pretty good town for music. I loved the music and felt it was wasted on the typical clubs where I was working. Thought about a career in academics for a while then decided to pursue other aims. No regrets. Still trying to set up a music studio in my house for keyboards and drums, but I have long since quit playing the saxophone.

Bass (my main instrument) for 5 years, guitar for 4, messing around with drums on and off for 7 years, and attempting vocals all along. I've gotten pretty decent at singing the blues, but I really need to work on my range. Right now, I'm just writing songs on an acoustic and hopefully will get them recorded soon and get an EP out. First solo project yet, hopefully it will turn out.

Trumpet in middle school and high school, drums for a few years afterward. Still play 'em every now and then, but I kinda suck at drums now! Bass and acoustic for the last 6 or 7 years, mostly in church. I think the only non-church song I have learned lately is "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus, thanks to my 16 year old daughter! That one really gets 'em when I show up for rehearsal!

Played french horn in high school, and was pretty good at it. It was fun while it lasted, but I kinda got burnt out on it. Still love music though.

I play bassoon, but prior to that played the flute. Can play the piano, but haven't recently. I've dabbled in trumpet and french horn as well. Spent two years conducting marching band in high school too.
