PlayStation 3: Any good flight games???
Recieved a PS3 for Christmas and was wondering mainly if there are any good flight combat games, or even other great games out there to buy. I googled "PS3 flight games" but I don't wanna put $50 down on one that's a dud. Figured this would be good place to ask for recommendations of any sort since I haven't had a game system in years...Thanks

The only flight sim I know of right now is Tom Clancy's HAWX, and it isnt very good at all. Its basically a crappy rip off of the Ace Combat series. Its not worth $50 but if you see it in the bargain bin at Gamestop, then maybe consider it. One good thing is on PS3 you can plug in most PC joysticks and use them in game.

Thanks "hotshot", I actually downloaded a demo of this game after you mentioned it and would be dissappointed if I had bought it. Most of the other flight games look a bit weak as well.
Any other games out there worth playing? I like 1st person shooters alot, any suggestions...Thanks again

I'd recommened Battlestations Pacific. if you're looking for a 'true', accurate flight sim this probably wouldn't be what you want, but the flight modelling really isn't that bad compared to some of the other arcade-like games. Also the game lets you play as surface ships and submarines so if the flight aspect isn't up to par there are still lots of ways to have fun with the game.

Don't know much about flight sims, but as far as first person shooters, Call of Duty Modern Warfare2 is the current hot game. Especially for multiplayer aspect. Another game with great reviews is Assasination Creed 2.
