The 747 is a great jet (I loved flying the -400), although I'd really like to see this one: http://www.newtechspy.com/articles06/boeing797.html

Don't look for it anytime soon, Boeing killed the 747X in 2002, but now we have the 747-800 which will look a lot like the 747X.

Like the Sonic Cruiser, it just proves that Boeing can think out of the box.

I figured it would be a long time before we see that futuristic baby. From a travel agent point of view, I'm very interested in the seating configuration on that bird. Of course I'm no pilot and don't know squat, but I would have thought that they wouldn't have seating on the blended wing because of the weight of the passengers, but from the picture on that web site, it looks like there are windows over the blended wing section.
