Shows like Law & Order or NCIS run about 2 mill an episode v. under a mill for most reality shows. Not just cast, but less writers, sets, etc. The thing is L&O will be run a hundred times, most reality shows only get one showing.

I read somewhere that the Dancing with the Stars contestants each get around 200 large for the show.

No offense, but I don't qualify being a reality show contestant as being a positive figure for pilots.

It's not even in the same arena compared to what Captain Sully and his flight crew did for their passengers.

I had the pleasure of working at a gym with Mike "the situation" from the stupid show "jersey shore", he is making an INSANE amount of money. Every weekend he is flying around the country getting paid like $15,000 an appearance to go to some nightclub.

The show only paid him what he was making at ASA. This is from Jake's mouth in recurrent ground.

I'm sure he's making more than his compensation at ASA, I doubt it's a few million, but it has to be more that a Regional Airline salary.

I could see it being half a million, but not sure what I'm using to get to that, I mean it's not like they recruit these reality stars based on their talents.

heard from someone in a hotel van who had flown with him; He's a complete douchenozzle, and wears long white gloves while flying to make sure that no sun actually touches his arms.

True story, my cousin heard from her friend that he totally passed out at the 7-11 last night

I don't watch much TV, so I have no idea of what you are talking about, but I do have an idea for a "reality" show:

That reality show would never get off the ground...

Yes, I know, but it is immortal. Just take any dumb bunny and place objects on it's head. Isn't that the formula?

Sort of a microcosm of life, don't you think?
