Jake the Bachelor on Dancing with the Stars
So how does one get enough time off of work to have done the Bachelor AND Dancing with the Stars?
Particularily LOVED the clips of the bachelor at the airport with nothing that resembled a 121 airplane...

Guys actually watch that show?!? Huh.... Thought only women watched that...
Probably took a leave of absence to do it. What carrier does he work for, seems like guys would give you a hard time about it in the cockpit. Though maybe not, we got himself set up with like 20 chicks at once... nicely done...

My wife loves that stupid show. Funny thing was we gave a friend a buddy pass to Florida last year. She came back and said: "The Delta captain is going to be the next bachelor". She took a picture with him, and I saw it. The delta captain in the picture had ASA on his wings, and yes, it was him. I've been wondering if he took leave or what. But it then begs the question that all of us like to ponder: how much $ for you to leave the airlines? I'm sure he'll be out of it with a million or two clear. I think I'd tell ASA to pound sand at that point.

You may be right, but I thought reality shows were a lot cheaper to produce since casting it costs nothing compared to hiring experienced actors and actresses.

More power to him, I'm glad that there is at least one positive figure of Pilots in the public eye other than Sully. Even if its reality crap tv, its better than a couple drunk guys in the terminal (man show). Hope he leaves and never looks back!

It has now been determined by the Surgeon General that exposure to Tang in the 60's and 70's may have mental and/or physical health consequences later in life.
My wife watches (I do not), and she was underwhelmed with Mr. Aldrin's performance.
Chris - can't dance, and won't prove it on TV
