Default Shipset, Air side pubs flight bag.

I just recieved my recall. While I was on the street my airline went to shipsets / air side pubs and I was wondering what people are using for flight bags. I'm looking for something that is decent quality and TSA friendly. Thanks for your help!

I'm in the same boat. I'll be getting one of the bags from here:

Thanks for the link. I am in the same boat as well. The guy in the ad looks like a USAirways pilot. Did they go to the "shipset" concept already? If so what will we actually be issued and have to carry? No Jepps? No PH/FOM? I assume all that stuff will be online? Congrats on the recalls !

Here is one that was designed to fit inside the pubs bag next to the pubs.

Thanks for the sites. I checked out the two sites and the first one by Brenthaven, has a cool video and great testimonials about their "ProFlight" bag. Pretty slick. The bag also looks like it will carry more stuff and comes with a ten year guarantee. I wonder if they have any discounts for us furloughed types?

Has anyone purchased either of these bags?

Thanks.

Down load the PDF of the "spec sheet" . It says something about a crew discount. Looks like a great deal!

Looks too bulky. I am looking forward to carrying less. $200 for a computer bag?

Thanks for the tip on the spec sheet. Looks like they offer 25% off for crew!

I just got off the phone with with customer service from this one www.brenthaven.com/proflight
and they offer free shipping and free return shipping if you don't like the bag! Not bad.

So what's it like having ship sets? Must be nice! Envious AA pilot here. AA has apparently decided they will never do it for cost reasons - despite the fact that it's cheaper in the long run.
