Shopping At Goodwill Outlet
#1
One of my favorite pastimes is to visit a Goodwill Outlet, and fortunately for me, there is one about 15 minutes from our house. The fun part is finding something interesting or unexpected.
Today, I was over there for the first time in a year (therefore, lots of pent up demand). I found a jacket/blazer that once belonged to an FO. Can't tell, of course, which airline. Nobody wanted it, not even the Russian women.
My find for the day is a bright red t-shirt that has "Spicy Hot" emblazoned on the front. Suits me to a, well, a T.

I don't do goodwill except to drop stuff off, but if you have a Habitat for Humanity ReStore nearby, you can often find some good furniture/antiques and contruction treasures. I found an 8 place outdoor table made from teak a few weeks back on sale for $65- new it would retail for over 600 and only needed light sanding and stain/waterproofing to restore to near new condition.

My husband has about 5 of those shirts that he picked up in the 80,s

I picked up a couple of rare Japanese collectibles that are made out of ivory and I,m trying to figure out who makes them, one of them is a rabbit with what looks like an egg and another is a sack with either rats or mice on the outside.
