I agree though, the location of the farm is very nice. It's south of Atlanta, but still pretty close (from what I've heard.) I would love to own property like that, and that beautiful house too. I can tell you, that the building used for the CDC is not even close to what it actually looks like in real life. Plus the CDC isn't that close to Downtown Atlanta, it's in Northern Atlanta. The building used for the CDC in the show, is actually located about 20-30 minutes Northwest of where they have it in the show, and is actually a Performing Arts Center ("Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.") Amazing what can be done with trick photography. ;-)

Actually we were still in season 2. AMC, like many other networks now a days, are splitting up the seasons into two halves. Part 1 of Season 2 was in November, and Part 2 of Season 2 was in February. November and February are two of the four "sweeps" (ratings) month, the other two being May and July. Season 1 had 6 episodes, season 2 had 19, and season 3 will have 16.

Come on season 3... I'm already excited about it. Thinking about re-watching 1 since I haven't seen it in awhile.

Just finished watching Game of Thrones on iTunes. Great series. Also a big fan of The Walking Dead. Anything that helps make deployment time go faster I am a fan of.

I love this series, but don't get AMC, so I've been waiting for this season to finish to buy it.

This show was great in Season 1, but Season 2 has been horrible.

The whole season was dragged on and on. Multiple episodes where nothing really goes on and they're still stuck on that damn farm. It's like the writers took a cue from Lost and they're milking it for all they can with useless inter-personal drama. Lets move on with some action and going beyond the farm to some place interesting.

So glad when they got rid of that dissenter who was against the execution, though. The guy was so artificially made to be annoying.

Looks like the next place they will be going is to a prison ,so it schould be a bit more interesting when the show starts back up in the fall ,anyone been able to figure out the deal with the helicopter ?

Cute avatar btw .

The series is based upon a comic, so you could always look there to find out what happens next (from what I gather, its pretty close to it).

I dunno, I wish they would just focus more on substance like where the zombies came from and what happens next for humanity rather than all the inter-personal drama that feels like season filler to me.

Also, thanks.

Interesting theory on where the Zombies came from. Some of the future plot potential I have read on the internet centers around the junk DNA the human body has inside. Scientists have for years tried to figure out what some of this stuff does. All we know for sure is that it has been with us since I guess the dawn of time. And now for some reason this junk DNA is turning itself on but only with the initial demise of the human body or via a bite or scratch. Hence why Doctor Jenner at the CDC said their test results showed that they all had the virus.

Will have to look at Boardwalk Kings.

Interesting start to this season and that is one spooky looking prison.
