My life has been unfair in my favor. Military paid for a lot of my flight training and my parents allowed me to go to school debt free. I have a great job at a major now, so I’m not whining about anything. Boomers inventing the tech devices? Probably half and half between them and Gen X. Also millennials made all the apps where you can share Tucker Carlson Hot Takes with your friends about how bad millennials are, so we win that one. I’m excited to see this massive wealth transfer that the average millennials going to get, source?
Generations are composed of disparate groups of people, some good, some bad. I just bristle, (dare I say, get “triggered”) when baby boomers **** on us millennials based on stupid stereotypes which they absorb during their daily conservative media indoc session.

Well im wondering if your parents are boomers?
If so i guess their contribution to the next generation would be you?
Which as individuals is all anyone can really contribute to the next generation. Raise productive and upright members of a society. My parents raised 10 such contributions. Although there wasnt any silver in our household.
Im certain there were whiney and self absorbed boomers...i have some in my family...Just as ther are in any generation. Including millenials.
Its just today milennials managed to create outlets and utilize the boomer technology to provide a means for their whiney members to tell the entire world about it. Lol...

I personally think the generation that raised the “greatest generation” is the greatest. If it weren’t for the way they raised their children we may all be speaking German right now, not that there’s anything wrong with the the language but I think you all get my point. Traits are learned, so the generation that fought and won WW2 did what they did with what was instilled into them. Not to mention the leaders were from the generation before them. So no disrespect to greatest generation because I hold them in high regard as well but I feel it’s an inaccurate label.

As for the older generations, they didn't constantly go bragging about everything they've done all the time, didn't toot their own horn. My Gramps was awarded the Silver Star and never told anyone, nobody knew until my Grandma found it while going through stuff.

Yup. Hard times produce formidable souls.
My Dad never said a word about it. He went to european theater...first i ever heard about his service was by accident. As a teenager visiting relatives one of my Dads childhood friends pulled me aside and told me 'hey, u kno your Dads a hero? Do you kno wat he did in the war?'
My Dad was in earshot and stopped the story telling.
Social media would have failed miserably in previous generations when people valued modesty and privacy above self exposure.

I’m analog born and went digital in college. That leaves me where? I need answers, validation and the occasional “atta boy”. But only from check airmen, or senior to me Captain or “nice landing” from a FA. I can rejet a carb and make monkey noises at a stand-alone efi. From this moment on, we shall be called generation bad ass. Or, generation Pearl Jam.
