My favorite is the tool that never makes standard or just blows off callouts, hap hazardly reads checklist, drops n-bombs and f-bombs the whole flight, constantly breaks sterile cockpit, talks about getting hookers when he has a wife and kids at home, bad mouths the union, the company, the flight attendants, other pilots, etc and dispite all this, will give you the hush signal (index finger in front of the lips) and point at the CVR when you mention a nav light is out but he obviously wants to wait to write it up in a maintenance station because he doesn't want to do a pilot deferral.

I would say no, and probably walk off the plane and call in sick.

I guess you didn't catch what the .....(i.e...dot ...dot)......meant! I have four daughters and two granddaughters and unlike some around here I am trying to keep it G rated!;)

BTW Marine dress blues are definitely a crutch. One I am glad to have (if I could still fit in to them).

Wore my Army dress blues to my first wedding, my cav buddies made the arch of swords and slapped her on the butt. great fun. Second wedding years later was motorcycle boots, jeans, t shirt on my Harley. Never even occurred to me to wear my sailor suit from work. That's just a look that only works at the airport.

What I included in parenthesis was only used as an example of what the Regional Captain thought he was emulating. (e.g. Wear his Regional Capt. uniform, much like someone would wear their Class A's.)

I absolutely have no problem with people in the military, as I am too, wearing their formal dress to formal events. I just don't see a Regional (or Major for that matter) airline uniform being enough for a formal event.

High School reunion, 20th. Classmate shows up wearing his Class A Air Force blues, complete with lovely ascot. Regales us with tales of dark, stormy nights full of danger and thrills. Now you have him, Delta.

When I went to my 20th I hit the liquor store. Then I bought a styrofoam cooler and filled it with ice and beer. Got some snacks too. My buddies were all paying $9.00 per beer at the party while I was walking around with some yummy PNW microbrews, Moose Drewel ect... When my old pals caught on I handed out keys to my hotel room with the cooler. Old girlfriends mixed martinis and everyone enjoyed themselves much more due to free drinks. My good friend who had an airline father said, Now you have him, Delta international pilot. Hehehe.:)

Do I get to subtract a Tool infraction for this?

Btw, I went to the TOOL concert in ATL a couple months back. Tools everywhere, even got a shirt that says Tool. So I guess I'm labeled a tool now when I'm wearing that shirt.
